Introduction
ZEST COURIERS GHANA LTD. is a limited liability company registered under the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Zest Couriers GH was set up essentially to pick up, transport and deliver food, groceries, documents, goods, parcels and packages from one point to all other parts of the Country and across the sub-region upon the request of our cherished clients.
1.0 Privacy Policy
1.1 Purpose
In fidelity to the imperatives of the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of the Republic of Ghana, ZEST COURIERS GH hereby adopts this Privacy Policy to govern its operations. ZEST COURIERS GH formulates this Privacy Policy for the purpose of building trust and ensuring absolute compliance with the dictates of the law, wherein it will ensure transparency in how it handles the personal data of its clients.
1.2 Scope and Application
This Privacy Policy shall apply to courier services, clientele engagements or interactions, website usages, business engagements and personal data to be collected from clients in the course of the company's operations.
1.3 Personal Data (To be Collected)
ZEST COURIERS GH collects personal details including but not limited to official names, designation or portfolio, occupation, contact information (including mobile phone numbers), delivery (physical) addresses, email addresses, parcel details (including package descriptions), and information relating to payments made.
1.4 Purpose of Data Collected
Any data collected by ZEST COURIERS GH shall be used exclusively to facilitate delivery of goods, parcels and packages to their precise destinations, provide support, improve service delivery (as feedback) while also ensuring compliance with the required legal framework.
1.5 Children's Privacy

1.6 Consent
By this Policy, the client acknowledges that by subscribing to the services of, or by contracting ZEST COURIERS GH, the CLIENT gives consent to ZEST COURIERS GH for the collection and use of the CLIENT's data and further undertakes to willingly provide ZEST COURIERS GH with all relevant information required and shall not unreasonably withhold any information necessary for the rendering of the service from ZEST COURIERS GH.
1.7 Ownership of Information and Client's Rights
All Confidential Information disclosed to or acquired by ZEST COURIERS GH remains the exclusive property of the client, and nothing in this Privacy Policy shall be construed as granting any license or right of ownership to ZEST COURIERS GH. Data is retained only as necessary for operations and legal purposes. The CLIENT is at liberty to access, make corrections to inaccurate data or order a deletion of data provided to ZEST COURIERS GH as and when the CLIENT deems necessary and expedient to do so.
1.8 Non-Disclosure Obligations
ZEST COURIERS GH acknowledges that in the course of its services, it shall have access to and acquire confidential and proprietary information belonging to the CLIENT. ZEST COURIERS GH wishes to state therefore, that it shall remain committed to ensuring that all confidential information obtained by it during its operations shall remain protected, even after delivery of the good, parcel or package.
ZEST COURIERS GH undertakes that it shall maintain confidentiality and not disclose any Confidential Information to any person or entity without the prior written consent of the client; and shall not use any Confidential Information for personal gain or for the benefit of any third party. ZEST COURIERS GH shall also not, directly or indirectly, divulge or make use of any Confidential Information for any purpose detrimental to the CLIENT; and shall continue to observe these confidentiality obligations, even after discharging its contract with the CLIENT, except as otherwise provided by law.
1.9 Definition of “Confidential Information”
“Confidential Information” means all information (whether oral, written, electronic, or otherwise) relating to the CLIENTS or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, customers, suppliers, employees, contractors, or business partners, including but not limited to:
- 1.9.1 Customer lists and pricing policies;
- 1.9.2 Trade secrets and business plans;
- 1.9.3 Strategies, research, and development information;
- 1.9.4 Financial statements and data;
- 1.9.5 Contractual relationships and negotiations;
- 1.9.6 Technical know-how, formulas or inventions; and
- 1.9.7 Any other information which, by its nature or content, ought reasonably to be regarded as confidential.
1.10 Disclosure Required by Law
If ZEST COURIERS GH is compelled by law, Court Order, or regulatory authority to disclose any Confidential Information, ZEST COURIERS GH shall promptly notify the CLIENT in writing (unless legally prohibited) and shall co-operate with the CLIENT to seek an appropriate protective order or other remedy.
1.11 Remedies
ZEST COURIERS GH acknowledges that a breach of this Privacy Policy may cause irreparable harm to the CLIENT for which monetary damages may be inadequate. Accordingly, the CLIENT shall be entitled to seek injunctive relief, specific performance, or any other equitable remedy, in addition to any other remedies available at law or equity.
However, ZEST COURIERS GH shall take the necessary steps to implement appropriate safeguards to protect CLIENT's data.
1.12 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the Parties agree that any dispute arising under or in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to or submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
